The #DBacks beat the Phillies 3-2 thanks to Lyle Overbay’s two RBI double in the ninth! Who? LOL, That’s the been the difference this season for the Arizona Diamondbacks, different players every night stepping up and carrying the team to a win. The DBacks win prevented Roy Halladay from getting his 16th win and gives the team a 3 1/2 game lead in the NL West!

Overbay knocked in all three runs as Arizona won its seventh straight game. “It’s a good situation,” Overbay said. “I couldn’t ask for anything better.” The 34-year-old Overbay was released last week by Pittsburgh after hitting .227 with eight homers and 37 RBIs in 103 games. He was drafted by Arizona in 1999 and played with the Diamondbacks from 2001-03. “We gave him a quick version of, `Here we go,’” Arizona manager Kirk Gibson said. “He’ll fit right in for us.”
